“"I feel so confident when I travel with Local Rendezvous Travel that I can really relax and I don't need to second-guess anything. Your level of thoughtfulness and planning is impressive, and I feel lucky to have gone on two trips with you to France."”

“"I loved how you got us out there, seeing and doing so much!! We were only in St Remy for a week, but it felt much longer (in the best possible way). I admired your ability to treat us all with kindness and patience (and amazing flexibility) in the face of unique personalities and last-minute requests. That kindness, openness and patience set the tone for the whole week, brava."”

“"Thank you for an amazing tour of Provence! The tour was so well-curated, offering a great balance of activities and local personalities! While I expected a great trip, it exceeded my expectations. Where to next? I am serious about another adventure with you!" (She has since signed up for a french-immersion tour in 2027 and recruited three relatives.) ”

“You, Jenn, and Bernard were both wonderful- well organized, good at anticipating our needs, flexible, and blended wonderful experiences—ranging from the visceral impact of Van Gogh’s asylum to the comfort of baby goats. In these days of commercial everything, to have time to walk around, talk, and take in various environments was refreshing. We felt cared for, and it was clear it mattered to you that we fully take in the experience. You have so much to give in these times when people are so hungry for 'the real thing.”

“The 3 days we spent with Philippe were all wonderful with his continual narration of interesting facts put together in a story-book manner. The entire 'Cooking Class day' was a 5++ day. Boules with Bernard still makes me smile every time I think of it. What fun! Our drivers were all careful and courteous. Who could ask for more? I am highly recommending you and Bernard and your tour-director skills to friends and family. Please keep me informed about future tours. Thank you for making our time in Provence memories that will last forever!!”

“I can't say enough good things about the trip - you two, your flexibility, the small groups (definitely keep that!), the location, the tours, the food. I've shared our adventures with many people . I'd love to hear about future tours. What about the Basque region, or Brittany? Or Switzerland? On a scale of 1 to 5, I'd give you a 10!”

“We have never done a group trip so it was a bit of an experiment for us - and it turned out beautifully. Your planning, patience, and personal charm made each day an adventure. Even opening your apartment to the group was such a welcoming touch. The little gifts were lovely too. We can't thank you enough.””

“You did an excellent job planning our visit, picking a wonderful base location, providing physical activities; picking good restaurants and towns to visit; good tour guides; and chefs. I am grateful that in our tour group, while everyone brought a different energy, we all blended so well together. I/we would definitely want to tour again with this exact same group with you two as our tour guides."”

“I've done a lot of traveling, and this was more than I had expected. Your knowledge of the area and attention to every detail was exceptional. I can't remember the last time I've traveled, and didn't need to concern myself with details and decision making. Truly relaxing and enjoyable. Thank you!!”

“I loved this trip, especially the beautiful grounds at our hotel, the location in Provence, our visit to the tiny Provencal villages in the countryside, and the tour guides, who were interesting to talk to and added to the cultural experience. I can't thank you enough for such a wonderful trip, and I already want to go back ... how about next fall?" (NOTE: Suzy did join us for another tour in May 2018.)”

“The Provence trip was fantastic! The itinerary was both educational and entertaining and offered so much variety, including the running of the bulls, the baking and cooking classes, the wine tasting at Chateauneuf du Pape, culture, history, dining, boating, walks into town, and the great company! Jenn and Bernard provided an incredible experience. We really enjoyed our first tour and have told our friends and family all about it. We are rallying the troops for the next adventure with you!”

“What a fabulous trip! I loved touring the little villages in the Luberon, the boules lesson with frenchman Jeff, which gave us a new appreciation for the game as we saw others playing it during our travels, and all the food tastings, where we learned about ancient and traditional Provencal recipes for cookies and Calisson, which gave us insight into the culture.”

“What a fabulous trip! I loved every minute of it, and the care you both took with "us seniors." The itinerary was wonderful and flexible when it needed to be. Both hotels were wonderful. Mas de Carassins is the most beautiful, comfortable hotel I've ever stayed in, and their chef is terrific. I'm still dreaming of the cheese!"”

“Our hosts, Jenn and Bernard, did an absolutely fantastic job! In fact, I would rank everything about this trip a 10 - the professional local guides, the hotel, the restaurants, and the daily excursions. It was one of the best trips of my life, if not THE best." “I am so glad I took the leap and signed on to visit the Azores with Jennifer last year. The flight was short, the hotel was ultra-modern, and the food and drink that our lively group enjoyed every day was beyond description – and we never once paid for a thing because it was all-inclusive! We saw all the highlights of this unique island, but had plenty of time to kick back in the numerous hot springs and mineral pools, or grab a massage. I highly recommend the Azores as a vacation spot, and Jennifer Wolcott’s tour-leading abilities.”

“Visiting the Azores with Jenn was an absolutely unforgettable experience. Although a frequent traveler, I have always planned private adventures. Initially hesitant about traveling with a group of strangers, I was sold on the boutique tour concept after a day. I am so looking forward to joining Meli Melo in Provence for their 2017 trip. The personalized service, fabulous accommodations and memorable day trips made this a unique experience. Life is about laughter, and we couldn’t have had more! Thank you again, Jenn!”

“Skies were often cloudy, but spirits were always sunny as my group toured this spectacularly beautiful island in the Azores. Jennifer’s superior organizational skills ensured that we were always on time, well fed, and able to glimpse the natural and culinary life of San Miguel to the utmost. I look forward to joining her on future tours.” Florence later joined us in Portland, Maine, and Provence.”
